Engineered for performance, Vantage S assertively blends functional weight reduction, aerodynamic enhancements and engine performance improvements with the class-leading edge and dominance of an Aston Martin. A suite of innovative lightweighting options, including a carbon fibre roof, carbon ceramic brakes and carbon fibre performance seats drive a 2.4% increase in power-to-weight ratio. Ramped up to 399PS per tonne in its lightest form – the most formidable in the ultra-luxury sports car category. Designed to minimise kerb weight. And maximise driver thrill.

A 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine, hand-built in lightweight aluminium, is the beating heart of Vantage S. 32 valves. A closed-deck block to boost strength and rigidity. Eradicating unnecessary weight. The Hot ‘V’ configuration creates a compact engine package. Utilising close-coupled, high flow, twin-scroll turbos. Topped with zirconium alloy cylinder heads.

The cockpit interior resonates thrillingly with the same iconic soundtrack as its illustrious predecessors. A distinct sonorous howl under hard acceleration. The smooth V8 rumble when cruising. Modified by the touch of an index finger on the machined-metal rotary dial. A choice of five drive modes and exhaust settings. Each unlocking a different level of sensory thrill. The solid-mounted rear subframe, using aluminium mounts in place of the usual rubber bushes, provides Vantage S with a 5% increase in torsional body stiffness and improved stability for a more direct connection with the car. Improvements to the core structural architecture are balanced with more flex in the transmission mount and rear spring aid. The result is increased ride refinement with no sacrifice in dynamic precision.

Vantage S introduces a solid-mounted rear subframe to increase structural torsional stiffness. In addition to the targeted bracing, undertrays and thicker anti-roll bars already in place, this helps to further enhance body control.

Improved calibration of the Bilstein DTX adaptive damper software enhances control of roll-and-pitch to maintain strong front-end confidence and low-speed agility. The wide bandwidth offers an immense range of control and sharpness of response. Reduced stiffness in the rear suspension aids rebalance compression and rebound for improved further low-speed refinement. Developed with bespoke damper software to enhance comfort without sacrificing agility or driver feedback. Adaptive damping dials in sharper body control and dynamic performance feel across all drive modes.

Available with Carbon Ceramic Brakes (CCBs), a further 27kg of unsprung mass can be reduced. Vantage S brake discs are 400mm at the front, 360mm at the rear. Grooved and drilled for superior thermal management. Increasing braking efficiency and reducing brake fade at temperatures nearing 800 degrees. Boosting driver confidence for later braking. Empowering the driver to push the limits further. Painted brake calipers, fitted in Black, Red or Aston Martin Green as standard, offer a striking accent of colour and an evocative signal of performance.

The assertive aerodynamic design character leaves no doubt as to the performance intent of Vantage S. Centrally mounted bonnet blades support engine cooling. Directing airflow out of the engine bay and along the car to manage hot air away from the engine. At the rear, a full-width decklid spoiler also increases its dominant road presence. Providing greater balance by increasing downforce at the rear of the vehicle by 44kg at Vmax. Downforce is front-biased, allowing improved turn-in and enhanced cornering grip.

The performance seat’s low hip point connects the driver more closely to the car, offering a new sightline and greater precision behind the wheel. Every Vantage S interior includes embroidered S logos on the upper shoulder panels, with nearly 2,500 stitches and over 16 metres of thread. A clear statement of the car’s dedication to both luxury and performance. A first in the automotive industry, Vantage S also offers optional ‘sculpted headrests’. Aston Martin wings are sculpted into both leather headrests using unique 3D embossing and debossing techniques formed with intense heat and extreme pressure of 1,500kg. Crafted with sub-millimetre precision to beautifully showcase Aston Martin’s artisan skills.

Vantage S is available with the optional S Interior Highlight Package. Beneath the perfectly placed floating centre console sits the rotary dial. It is machined from billet aluminium and anodised red, with tactile haptics to access the five drive modes – all at fingertip control. Drivers specify the Red finish which matches other highlighted features including contrast stitching, contrast welt, seatbelt and headrest embroidery. The optional ‘Inspire S’ environment comes with S Herringbone quilting, ventilated seats, and leather upgrades to either full semi-aniline leather or semi-aniline leather and Alcantara®, in both monotone and duotone options. All working together for a more assertive design edge. New sill plaques showcase the S graphic etched on Silver or Black to subtly link with interior cabin jewellery.

Vantage S features our next-generation infotainment system. Designed and developed exclusively in-house. Brimming with connectivity, 3D mapping and satellite view technology. And finished with fully integrated Apple CarPlay Ultra®.

The new Vantage S is geared around connectivity via the Aston Martin app. Empowering the driver with effortless interaction between car and smartphone. The connectivity app allows over-the-air updates and upgrades with real-time feedback that learns on every drive, with clear colour-coded signals to display the car’s status. An optional Halo system has been developed with Aston Martin’s audio partner, Bowers & Wilkins. The 15-speaker, double amplified 1,170W surround sound system includes 3D sound from headliner-mounted tweeters, bass speakers, and a subwoofer for a unique aural experience. QuantumLogic Immersion™ technology further customises the sound, while ensuring smooth audio transitions with Aluminium Double Dome tweeters and Continuum® midrange speakers. Expertly crafted stainless-steel speaker frets provide a perfect balance. Filling every corner of the interior with sound performance to match that of the car itself.
